Basic Setup

Create a class, add schedule to the class and assign student & teacher to the class.

NOTE: The focus of this basic setup is to show you how the core components/resources within the app are related from a school management point of view. See our comprehensive user guides for more detailed documentation on features & functionalities.

NOTE: To upload data in bulk, see Bulk uploads section.

Create your first location

  1. Go to Settings > School Locations
  2. At the bottom right, click on the + button.
  3. Give the location an alias, address line 1 and 2, city, post code, state and country.
  4. Click on submit button at the bottom to save the location.

Create your first class

  1. Go classes.
  2. At the bottom right, click on the + button.
  3. Give your class a Name, Description and select Address i.e class location
  4. Click on submit button at the bottom to save your class.

Create your first schedule

Think of schedule as a time slot available/associated with a class.

  1. Go classes.
  2. Select the class you want to add schedule to
  3. At the bottom right, click on the + button.
  4. Give your schedule a Title, Frequency, Start Time and Duration.
  5. Click on submit button at the bottom to save your schedule.

Create your first student

  1. Go students.
  2. At the bottom right, click on the + button.
  3. Enter the Name, Surname, Date of Birth and Email address of the student.
  4. Click on submit button at the bottom to save the student.

Assign the student to a class

  1. Go classes.
  2. Click on the class you want to assign the student to.
  3. At the bottom of the screen, click on Students tab.
  4. At the bottom right, click on the + button.
  5. On the pop up screen, click on the checkbox next to the student name you want to add to the class.
  6. Click on OK button at the bottom right to assign the selected student(s) to the class.

Create your first teacher

  1. Go teachers.
  2. At the bottom right, click on the + button.
  3. Enter the Name, Surname, Date of Birth and Email address of the teacher.
  4. Click on submit button at the bottom to save the teacher.

Assign the teacher to a class

  1. Go classes.
  2. Click on the class you want to assign the teacher to.
  3. At the bottom of the screen, click on Teachers tab.
  4. At the bottom right, click on the + button.
  5. On the pop up screen, click on the checkbox next to the teacher name you want to add to the class.
  6. Click on OK button at the bottom right to assign the selected teacher(s) to the class.
